I help my clients\' resolve disputes. I practice is primarily in Ohio and Michigan; but have also represented clients in cases in California, Wyoming, and Indiana. I am admitted to practice in all state and federal courts of Ohio, all state courts in Michigan, the United States District Court of Michigan, Eastern Division, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. I have been admitted in other states for specific cases. My Areas of Practice include: Construction Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Breach of Contract, Trade Secret and Non-Competition Disputes, Insurance Coverage, Personal Injury and Wrongful Death, Municipal Law.

   Mr. Irmen is a member in the litigation practice group. He has tried cases in state and federal courts on a variety of subjects including trade secrets, covenants not to compete, commercial construction disputes, trucking accidents, defense of municipalities, business breakups and fire loss. He is Past President of the Toledo Bar Association. He has served as chairman of the Federal Court Committee, the Common Pleas Court Committee and the Court of Appeals Committee. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Defense Research Institute and the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys. He clerked for the Hon. Robert Franklin and has been engaged in trial and appellate practice since 1985. He joined Marshall & Melhorn in 1987. Mr. Irmen is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts of Ohio, all state courts in Michigan, the United States District Court of Michigan, Eastern Division, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.
