Duties and Responsibilities1. Perform all duties of a Hanover College CAMPUS SECURITY Officer as requested.2. Recruit and select qualified persons for employment in the Hanover College CAMPUS SECURITY Department.3. Investigate or cause the investigation of all unlawful acts complaints and incidents occurring on the Hanover Campus coming to the attention of the Department.4. Coordinate campus security and safety activities with local, county, state and federal agencies.5. Act as liaison with all departments and sections of the College to insure proper interface of security and safety activities.6. Establish work assignments for each security officer (for each shift or work period) to insure maximum effort is targeted to the security and safety of the Hanover College Campus.7. Set performance standards to insure each member of the Hanover College CAMPUS SECURITY Department is working at a level of efficiency commensurate with maintaining a safe environment on the Hanover College Campus.8. Evaluate the performance of all Hanover College Campus Security PoliceOfficers.9. Prepare Hanover College CAMPUS SECURITY Department budget.10. Author directives and work assignments to maintain operational efficiency.11. Apply College regulations and policies with fairness and impartiality.12. Perform other duties related to the security and safety of Hanover College students, staff, visitors and property.
