ABOUT JIM HESTER

I am a specialist personal injury law barrister with particular expertise in occupational disease, military and serious personal injury claims. Ranked in the legal directories both regionally and nationally for my experience in these fields, I am noted by instructing solicitors as a barrister who is “Always pragmatic yet not afraid to thing outside the box and fight his corner when required.”With my background as a Major in the Royal Marine Commandos for 10 years prior to becoming a barrister, I am frequently instructed on personal injury claims involving military personnel. My first-hand military experience gives me a unique sector insight that is invaluable, particularly when it comes to advising on liability or loss of career opportunities.I have recently allowed my previous membership of the Attorney General’s Panel of Counsel to lapse, but as a result have significant knowledge of claims involving public bodies in personal injury matters.
