ABOUT JIM GILLIS

As the President of the Pacific Region at IMC Logistics, I lead the strategic direction and execution of the company\'s intermodal drayage and warehousing operations and sales in the West Coast and Nevada. With over 27 years of experience in this industry, I have successfully launched, relocated, integrated, and expanded multiple divisions and brands under the IMC umbrella, delivering value to our customers, partners, and employees. I am passionate about driving growth and innovation in the intermodal drayage space, leveraging my expertise in new business development: drayage, warehouse, and operations management. I have established and maintained strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as port authorities, shipping lines, and logistics providers, and secured large contracts and deals that enhanced our market position and profitability. I have also implemented best practices and standards for safety, quality, and efficiency across our facilities and fleet, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction. I am keenly focused on sustainability in trucking and advancing IMC on the West Coast as a leader in reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions and helping to educate our customers on the same.
