About Jim Dyer
I am currently in the final year 3 of a Leadership Development Rotational Program with Medtronic. I spent my first 14 months with the Cardiovascular Portfolio Business Development & Strategy team where I led efforts in market analysis, portfolio management, project management, and strategic planning. I am currently in a Strategy & Upstream Marketing role with the Digital Technology Business within our Surgical Operating Unit. My primary responsibilities include market research, competitor insights, VOC, and conducting analysis that influence our roadmap. Prior to joining Medtronic, I completed a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kelley School of Business, where I was a Dean\'s Fellow and peer selected to serve as Vice President of the Healthcare Club. I was also a faculty-selected member of the Consulting, Life Science, and Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation Academies. Additionally, I developed a strong background in healthcare leadership and operations while providing direct patient care. I led multi-disciplinary teams ranging from 3-10 headcount and was directly responsible over the success of >$1M P&L. I also hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
