I represent banks and other lenders in a wide variety of commercial lending transactions, including commercial loans, asset-based loans, real estate loans, and bond financing transactions. Many of these loans involve state and federal tax credits, such as Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits and New Markets Tax Credits. I have also developed an expertise in financing Native-American projects through a number of transactions on both the lender side and the tribal side.I also help lead a multi-disciplinary team of lawyers that provide full service representation to gas and convenience store owners and fuel distributors. Our team provides legal expertise and practical advice in all areas affecting people and companies in this industry, including real estate, land use, zoning, leasing, environmental, finance, tax, employment, corporate, intellectual property, succession planning, regulatory and M&A services and litigation. From day-to-day operational issues to unique and specialized matters such as large acquisitions, new development and asset divestiture, we truly cover the waterfront to provide service to our clients.My real estate practice includes representing developers, landowners, tenants and landlords in acquisitions, sales, leasing and financing of all types of properties, including raw land, retail centers, office buildings and industrial sites. As part of my finance and real estate practices, I lead the firm\'s alternative energy development group on the real estate and finance side, focusing primarily on wind and solar energy projects. Our group works hand in hand with developers and investors on site control, title and survey review and curative actions and all matters relating to preparing a site for development, as well as due diligence in connection with energy project investments.
