Having over 15 years’ experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry, with an emphasis on antibody discovery and development, my forte is facilitating data-driven decision making through a combination of communication, organisational and analytical skills. I am currently applying these skills in an Open Innovation role; having previously been involved in portfolio, project and alliance management, technology transfer and internal/external training. As Senior Manager for Open Innovation, Neurology, my present role involves the identification of potential collaborators, facilitating the establishment of active collaborations, and acting as alliance manager to ensure effective running of established collaborations.I led the implementation of a number of data capture and reporting systems, resulting in a bespoke dashboard tool to communicate key aspects of the portfolio ‘on the go’. These reporting systems have enabled the consistent delivery of overall Research portfolio goals through data-driven prioritisation and effective resource management.I have provided meetings management for a number of therapeutic area-specific project governance committees and led prioritisation within these TAs. Central to these activities is effective stakeholder management across all levels of the organisation.I had project management oversight for the Neuroscience research portfolio, as well project managing a smaller number of early stage cardiovascular and metabolic disease projects and IT-based initiatives to develop portfolio communication tools.As alliance manager, I was responsible for the management of both internal stakeholders and third party alliance partners to ensure the effective transfer of CAT technology to licensing partners. I was responsible for provision of revenue forecasts and quarterly progress updates to senior stakeholders.
