ABOUT JILLY TOBIN
Operations Director specialising in the development, delivery and scale-up of high-quality children’s residential services for young people with multiple presenting needs and complex support requirements. I bring over a decade of senior leadership experience across Ofsted-regulated provision, including experience as both a Responsible Individual and Registered Manager, with a strong track record of opening new services, stabilising performance and building sustainable, values-led organisations.I oversee multi-site operations, governance and quality, ensuring homes are safe, compliant, financially robust and genuinely child-centred. I have led multiple successful registrations, secured strong Ofsted outcomes at pace and maintained excellent placement stability through robust systems, clear accountability and confident leadership. My leadership style is approachable, fair and compassionate, combining high standards with warmth, consistency and psychological safety for staff and young people. A core strength of my work is embedding trauma-informed, PBS-led and attachment-aware practice at organisational level, translating therapeutic frameworks into everyday operational reality across policy, workforce development and supervision. My focus is on improving outcomes, safely reducing restrictive practice and creating cultures where people feel supported, trusted and proud of the care they provide.
