I am a member of the Executive & Leadership Teams of Family Service of Roanoke Valley, which is a 124-year-old human services 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a reputation for quality mental health counseling, innovative prevention services for youth, and life-saving case management services for incapacitated adults. The organization also provides personal affairs management for vulnerable adults and healthy relationship groups for those who have a history of using violence with their significant others. I am responsible for donations made by individuals/businesses/trusts which sustain the organization; writing some grants; marketing/graphics/social media; media relations; volunteer management; presentations to corporations and community organizations; and special events. I have collaborated on the development of two strategic plans and am currently responsible for a $1 million comprehensive campaign for innovation and renovations. I also manage our front desk and oversee the department\'s internship program.
