Coordinates work order processing activities.(Order planning, Order control, and Order coordination) • Assists the Customer Service department during the proposal phase of the Order.(OTO phase)• Prepares the project time schedule in conjunction with the master scheduler. • Coordinates the project activities required for successful on time delivery of the Order.• Ensure that work orders are complete and accurate.• Meets Order deadlines and stays within Order budget.• Monitors progress of Order elements at home location as well as at other Voith - partner locations and key sub- suppliers.• Coordinates larger shipments together with the responsible buyer for the different materials.• Initiate corrections when the Order progress strays from schedule.• Assist the Customer service department in the resolution of warranty claims submitted by the customer.• Works with Warehouse management to set minimum reorder quantities.• Cleans up data inconsistencies (eg. wrong / unclear specification of material masters, quantity, lead time, pricing wrong, …) and works with the relevant departments to get it correctedAdditionally worked in the DSU capacity from customer inquiry until payment of invoice. This entailed additional work such as:* Identifying parts necessary for quotation* Working with Engineering or service personnel to ensure that part numbers, BOM\'s and parts within were correctly tied together and updated accordingly* Submit quotations to customers* Follow up on quotations* Order entry once the order was placed by the customer* Creating routings and production orders for in-house assembled parts* Receiving vendor quotes and ensure accuracy of the data and then updating this in SAP* Warehouse management* Receiving of parts and placing in stock locations* Shipment of parts* Invoicing of customer orders* Follow up on any past due payments to ensure payment is made
