ABOUT JILL BISHOP
I specialize in helping small and medium nonprofit organizations build capacity through best practice fundraising.With 28 years of experience, I opened my non-profit fundraising consulting/contract business in January 2022. As a consultant, my focus is on helping small to medium non-profit organizations establish a fundraising plan or department; serving as Interim Director of Development; serving in a Major Gifts capacity; training or mentoring new development professionals and coaching organizational leaders in best practice fundraising. My primary expertise is in the performing arts, having spent the majority of my career in producing/presenting theater, arts-focused public radio, and a major music festival.I bring a strong work ethic and inclusive team approach to organizations. Over my long corporate and non-profit careers, I have mentored and coached many direct reports and colleagues. I am mission-focused and practice a servant leadership approach to my work, valuing stewardship, gratitude, community, and a culture of philanthropy as paramount to achieving success.
