I am a commercial litigator with a dynamic, wide-ranging practice focused on resolving complex disputes for financial institutions, property owners, businesses, and court-appointed fiduciaries.One of my core areas of focus is banking litigation. I represent both local and national commercial lenders in high-stakes commercial foreclosures and a wide variety of special asset litigation. I also regularly appear in bankruptcy courts, advocating for secured creditors in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 proceedings to ensure creditors’ rights are protected and maximized in both restructuring and liquidation contexts.I have also developed deep experience representing court-appointed receivers. I am frequently retained to guide receivers through the challenges of commercial foreclosure, eviction, and building and zoning litigation. Whether advising receivers overseeing a single property or those managing complex multi-property portfolios, I provide practical, strategic counsel that balances compliance with business realities.My practice extends beyond financial and receivership matters into business litigation. I represent companies and entrepreneurs in contract disputes, partnership and shareholder conflicts, fiduciary duty claims, and other commercial controversies. My clients value my ability to combine sharp litigation skills with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach that prioritizes both strong legal outcomes and long-term business objectives.In addition, I represent large property owners in defending against housing discrimination claims filed with the Illinois Department of Human Rights. I understand the nuances of fair housing law and the administrative process and have successfully protected clients against a range of discrimination allegations. My goal is always to provide both a strong defense and proactive strategies that help reduce future risk.
