   Bridges Baltimore supports the long-term academic success of Baltimore City youth and build a more inclusive and equitable society. Over 13 years, Bridges partners with students age 9 to 23 and their families to provide up to 1,878 hours of enrichment programming (equivalent to approximately 2 school years), including school guidance and placement support, career exposure and connections, and individualized support to position students for academic success. These experiences provide participants access to a community of trusted peers and staff, promote consistent academic achievement, and position them for entrance into fulfilling careers with financial security.*70% remain with the program from elementary through high school graduation *100% graduate high school *80% attend a 2- or 4-year college or university *67% graduate college or university Bridges also engages independent school students of all backgrounds to build relationships with Baltimore City youth. High school-aged independent school students from our program sites volunteer with Bridges’ youngest students during the summer enrichment and after-school programs. They also participate in training sessions to learn about issues of unequal access in Baltimore and be a part of creating a more inclusive and equitable society.
