At Legal Services of North Florida I assist a civil rights/medical-legal attorney. Through community outreach and research, our practice gives free services to those in the north Florida, in order to promote community and individual safety. Some of my favorite practices of law that I am working on with are landlord/tenant law, victim rights law, and immigration law. I’m excited to learn more about all the different services this law firm offers, as well as working with those with lots of experience and expertise in the legal field.

ABOUT JILLY MCPHERSON
Hello! My name is Jilly McPherson and I am a senior at Florida State University studying Human RIghts & Social Justice and Political Science. I am also minoring in Religion. I have experience in personal injury law, landlord/tenant law, research, and customer service. I currently hold a law clerk position at Legal Services of North Florida, where I assist low-income individuals find stable housing. At Florida State University, I serve as President of Generation Action, which advocates reproductive justice. I have experience in research assisting and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) leadership. As a hispanic, queer, and transgender individual, I strive to fight for the human rights of marginalized communities. After graduation, I wish to pursue a research job or a position in labor and employment law.
