ABOUT JILLIAN LONGSWORTH
I am a passionate advocate for the arts, education, and wellness. I hold a BA in Communications with a minor in Theatre Studies from Queens University of Charlotte, having also studied musical theatre at Wagner College and Educational Theatre at NYU. I taught theatre at Northwest School of the Arts before owning NoDa Yoga for 14 years, where I collaborated with organizations like Yoga Warriors and Love Your Brain to bring accessible yoga to diverse communities, including the VA system. The pandemic reignited my passion for theatre, leading me to join Theatre Gap Initiative as Program Director. Here, I combine my love for education and the arts to support BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ students in their gap year journeys, with a 100% success rate in BFA acceptances.
