About Jillian Jacinto

I’m currently an Intelligence Analyst Apprentice at NJCCIC. I received my Masters in Cyber Security and Privacy at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). I\'m a recipient of the NSF CyberCorps® Scholarship for Service, which aids me in my cybersecurity career. This past fall semester, I participated in the Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program and helped develop a web application that automates tracking Key Indicators of Risk (KIOR). This past summer, I participated in the DOE Omni Technology Alliance Internship Program at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. There, I worked as a full-stack web application developer and software engineer for a packet parser. I recently graduated from NJIT with a B.S. in Computer Science. As an undergraduate student, I received the Academic Excellence Scholarship and Albert Dorman Honors College Scholarship. I was the president of Kids Who Code at NJIT from 2023 to 2024, and I’m passionate about being involved in the local community and applying my skills to help. I previously was a Software Design Student at Daktronics, where I also worked on full-stack web application development. I\'m interested in cybersecurity, cryptography, network security, and information assurance. I\'m always looking for opportunities to develop my skills in those fields.
