About Jillian Gillman

I’m Jillian, or you may know me as Estelle - my middle name I am quite fond of. I am a marketing professional in Boston, MA with NE PARADIGM, a woman-owned and operated strategic marketing and design firm. My background in education started at Marlboro College in VT, where I studied environmental sustainability and learned to be a disciplined writer. Marlboro students were encouraged to explore the interconnections between disciplines, which fascinated me. After Marlboro College’s merger with Emerson College, I combined this knowledge with marketing and wrote my thesis, Marketing in a Time of Environmental Crisis which examines how businesses can support environmental sustainability in part through their marketing. As enthusiastic as I am about environmental sustainability, marketing, creative thinking, and understanding people, I also revel in embracing creativity in so many other forms. You can find me capturing authentic and wholesome moments through photography, indulging in photo editing, salsa dancing, sketching cartoons, baking elaborate desserts, harmonizing melodies, playing piano, and unsuccessfully learning how to fiddle. These are just a few things that keep me inspired. To call my self an artist would be a little too generous, but with my creative-leaning mind, i entertain myself infusing artistry into everything I do. Good artists borrow, great artists steal; and I strive to do something worth stealing.
