About B. Jill Eubanks
There\'s just something about that smell. You walked into a Recorder\'s or Clerk\'s courthouse office and that smell smacks you in the face. Old book smell. I don\'t know about you but I also tend to sneeze; allergies to dust. Records being kept in huge, dusty books; so huge you struggle to get them over to the table and it slams when you gently set it down. What kept me coming back to the deed room was the thrill of solving puzzles. I\'m happy to share that I have a pretty good happy dance routine when I find those missing pieces to a title chain. It was a natural transition to go from Abstractor (Title Examiner, Searcher) and Genealogist into Title Curative Specialist. I\'m a creative problem solver and an avid hunter of courthouse and online records. I\'ve uncovered a few family black sheep and closeted skeletons, all of which stays private and confidential. While there is an economic downturn in the petroleum industry (boom or bust!), I\'m spending time honing my skills in technology. I\'m learning how to utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software, like Salesforce, and project management software, like Asana, while working as a Data Entry Specialist. And, I\'ll be expanding my education with certificates in Construction Field Supervision, Computer-Aided Design and Drafting, and Business and Leadership Skills. Ultimately, I will also earn a Masters in Legal Studies. Which leads me to where I see myself in five years. I\'m working in project management for an energy/utility company as a Right of Way (ROW) Agent. I look forward to seeing you there!
