Providing strategic HR support to Assistant Directors & Heads of Service within the Children, Young People Services directorate. Working to ensure it has the workforce it needs with the right skills, experience and behaviours to continue to deliver its outstanding services to the children and young people of North Yorkshire. This includes a wide range of support and advice from workforce planning and restructure to dealing with complex/safeguarding casework and providing consultative advice with regards to commissioning other specialist HR support such as recruitment, pay and reward, training and learning.Provide HR support to the panel on various employment hearings. Project work to support maximisation of apprenticeship levy in services where it has been traditionally challenging (e.g. residential services) to use apprenticeships to achieve statutory qualifications, resulting in significant on-going savings to the organisation.
