About Jill Tracy
At Southern California Gas, the nation\'s largest gas distribution utility where our mission is to deliver safe, reliable, and affordable energy to 21.1 million customers across more than 500 communities, today and for the future, Jill is leading efforts to advance risk-informed decision making at the CPUC and enhance SoCalGas’s compliance management framework. As Senior Director of Risk & Compliance, Jill works closely with SoCalGas’s Operations, Legal and Regulatory groups to advance an ethical culture grounded in risk-based decision making and compliance excellence. Prior to this role, Jill has held various positions with the Sempra Companies including Senior Director of Angeles Link, Assistance General Counsel of Litigation, Environment and Claims, Director of Pipeline Safety, Compliance and Emergency Management, and Director of Environmental Services for SoCalGas. Jill joined the Sempra Companies in 2007 as Senior Counsel specializing in environmental law. Prior to joining Sempra, Jill was in-house environmental counsel at several major multi-national energy companies as well as in private practice in California, New Jersey and New York.Jill has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of New Hampshire School of Law. She has also attended executive business management and finance programs at the USC Marshall School of Business and Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley.In her free time, Jill enjoys gardening, trail running and cooking.
