Returning to my roots! In my new role I will interpret and enforce solid waste diversion laws for the State of California. I will support public education regarding waste prevention, reduction, and repurposing. Waste, in many cases is a misnomer. Waste is a resource that can be used to create biofuel, compost, and even new products. As we work toward building more circularity in our manufacturing, production, distribution, and consumption, we can promote donation/reuse/recycling/composting activities that transform the \"waste\" cycle.
