Lead strategic investing as head of practice unit serving MCC’s multi-billion global investment portfolio. • Oversee project development, execution, due diligence and operational evaluation on land and property rights, mining and critical minerals governance, land and real estate markets, economy-wide agricultural supply chains in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Achieve impact and service quality through smart recruiting, performance coaching, and strategic staffing.• Drive comprehensive risk management to anticipate, monitor, and respond to time, cost, completion, quality, accountability and reputational risks and opportunities in fast-paced, high stakes environment. Implement advanced project management tools to optimize delivery outcomes.• Lead budget, procurement, and contract management, ensuring high-quality team oversight of multiple investment project budgets and contracts up to $50m to maximize project quality and results risks. Optimize strategic allocation and management of unit’s annual $4.5m consulting budget to expand capabilities on-demand and ensure policy compliance. • Forge partnerships for opportunity and impact with World Bank, other funders, and private sector leaders to advance agency visibility, identify opportunities, and amplify impact. Collaborate cross-functionally at MCC with regional and other key sector leaders including for economic analysis, infrastructure, and environmental and social performance.• USG SES/SL-equivalent position
