ABOUT JILL MCKENZIE

I’m a senior leader working at the intersection of public policy, regulation and enterprise transformation, with experience across central government, international public service and Big Four consulting.Earlier in my career, I advised Ministers and senior officials in New Zealand and the UK, shaped regulatory and governance frameworks, and led cross-agency programmes in complex, politically sensitive environments spanning digital economy and telecommunications, infrastructure, transport and defence.Over the past three and a half years at PwC New Zealand, I’ve deliberately expanded my capability into enterprise-scale transformation and change delivery, leading complex programmes across public and private sectors, including core banking platform implementation, large public-sector transformation, and GenAI adoption. This experience has strengthened my commercial judgement and deepened my understanding of how policy and regulatory intent lands in real organisations.I specialise in connecting system-level intent to practical execution — supporting senior leaders to navigate risk and ambiguity, and building the governance and capability required to sustain change over time.I’m currently an Associate Director at PwC, operating in senior transformation leadership roles while bringing a strong policy and regulatory lens to executive decision-making.I’m always open to thoughtful conversations about system-level change in regulated environments.
