ABOUT JILL M. BUTLER

Jill currently serves as Senior Ethics & Compliance Counsel at ServiceNow. In this role, she leads the company’s global Anti-Corruption (ABAC) team and program. She also provides strategic direction and advice on ethical and legal compliance issues to the company’s Commercial, Finance, Sales, Global Impact (ESG) and Marketing teams. Prior to joining ServiceNow, Jill worked in Privacy at Apple while also serving as the Vice-Chair of the City of Oakland’s Public Ethics Commission. Prior to that, she managed a University of California Office of the President’s (UCOP) ethics compliance program in which she investigated the University’s Senior Management’s outside activities to ensure they were compliant with University policy and did not pose a conflict of interest or reputation risk for the University. Before joining UCOP, Jill held Counsel and Legislative Affairs positions in the United States Congress and Social Security Administration in Washington, D.C. Jill is a proud Oakland, California native and enjoys staying active in her community as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Alameda Health System Foundation, Charles Houston Bar Association and an Oakland Promise mentor. Jill received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley and her Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law. She is barred in the District of Columbia.
