ABOUT JILL DYSIEVICK
Currently I am the Corporate Controller of Hopewell Residential overseeing the accounting and financial reporting as well as mentoring and coaching other accounting team members on their roles within Hopewell and through the CPA program. During my time at PwC I was involved in the Assurance practice working with clients across various industries in both the private and public sector. I explored PwC on a global scale by working with PwC Australia from 2010 to 2012 where I gained extensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and brought this knowledge to my clients in Canada on the transition from Canadian GAAP to IFRS. As a Senior Manager on the National Assurance Quality and Methodology team at PwC I worked to enhance audit quality on not just my own clients, but all clients throughout PwC Canada. I also contributed to the Learning & Development side of PwC through instructing and organizing our L&D strategy in the Calgary office where I also was offered the opportunity to travel the world to facilitate and write courses within the PwC Global Assurance curriculum.
