ABOUT JILL CARLINE
I am a detail-oriented and decisive undergraduate Biology major with a collaborative spirit and strong curiosity and leadership skills, eager to explore all aspects of the medical field. Diligent and future-focused, committed to gaining valuable experience to effectively pursue a Physician Assistant Graduate School and advance in the medical profession.In 2024’s summer, I worked as a Medical Assistant with Nisbet Women’s Care in Warwick, Rhode Island. I took on many responsibilities with stride and observed myself making meaningful connections with patients. I was blessed to create long-lasting relationships with the office staff and Physicians while learning all key skills and aspects of being a physician. I was fully integrated with Encompass Health as a Therapy Tech per diem, working here in addition to my studies and athletics. This opportunity has further connected me with the patient care experience as I am a leader in patients’ rehabilitative care from exhibiting kindness to assisting with daily care and their therapeutic journey. After graduation, I will be taking on a full-time position as a Clinical Informatics Specialist (Medical Scribe) at Oak Street Health Primary Care in Providence, RI. I will continue to work per-diem with Encompass Health on the weekends. I am looking forward to broadening my experience in the medical field with this new position to better serve my future PA school applications.
