I am an independent subject matter expert who provides survivor and trauma informed peer review services for key stakeholders and government agencies on the topic of domestic human trafficking and exploitation. I have over ten years’ technical experience, professional credentials, and leadership service within a multi-disciplinary expert community addressing human trafficking. Career Highlights• 2021 Survivor Activist Award for providing testimony to the House Judiciary Committee in support of the passage of the Child Abuse Accountability Act which lifts the Statute of Limitations for child sex abuse and holds accountable institutions that knew or should have known that sexual abuse occurred in their organization. • First survivor representative to sit on the Colorado Human Trafficking Council (CHTC), including several leadership roles, e.g. Vice Chair to Council, Chair, Prevention Task Force and member of Public Awareness Campaign Committee• Proactively created, socialized, and delivered the first human trafficking public awareness training for employees of the Colorado Department of Transportation• Trusted advisor to - and for - the human trafficking programs of multiple Federal agencies, e.g. the US Department of State, USDOJ, USDOT, and HHS
