About Jill B.
Market research has come to me in a roundabout fashion and has helped me identify my passion for helping others. After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with a focus on Mathematics, I was drawn to media and advertising. Working in accounting for a TV station, southwest radio conglomerate and advertising agency offered my left brain schooling a right brain environment in which to partner. My curious nature was a harmonious match for nearly 15 years with GSD & M: starting in Accounting, then on to Media tracking client budgets, but mostly in market research Strategy and Insights while perfecting the flawless focus group. Delving deeper into online market research, I was working in a home office with BrainJuicer® & then FocusVision which created new challenges yet plenty of international connections, project management and client service experience. Looking to return to an office environment, I continue to enjoy keeping up with racing digital innovations, from new product announcements at SXSWi to simply listening on Facebook and Twitter. That, and keeping up with my teenage son as he pursues his quest of Eagle Scout while attending high school and playing in the school marching band.
