I began my career as a Manual Tester, where I worked on end-to-end testing for telecom projects I developed strong expertise in defect tracking, writing test cases, executing functional and regression testing, and collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.After over 2 years of hands-on testing experience, I was promoted to a hybrid Quality Analyst / Business Analyst role, where I expanded my scope beyond testing into requirements analysis, user story grooming, and stakeholder communication.In this role, I: • Participated in requirement analysis sessions with product owners and clients to understand business goals. • Translated high-level business needs into detailed test scenarios and user acceptance criteria. • Acted as a bridge between business stakeholders and the development team to ensure clarity in features. • Created and maintained test cases in JIRA, tracked defects, and ensured traceability to business requirements. • Raised early clarifications on vague or incomplete requirements, ensuring smoother sprint execution. • Contributed to backlog refinement and sprint planning discussions as a QA/BA representative.Now, I’m actively working toward transitioning fully into a Business Analyst role.
