   As a consultant managing the end-to-end global WAN migration at all 65 company locations world-wide to the SD-WAN platform while consolidating telecom vendors and eliminating legacy/redundant links. Also consulted on data center related strategic as well as tactical initiatives.Global SD-WAN Implementation initiatives include: Acting as the principal liaison for Ansys in dealing with the company’s selected global vendor (Verizon), interfacing with their account, project and service management teams on a daily basis, helping not just the project but strengthening the long-term partnership. Leading a team of 10 in-house engineers through the planning, configuring and implementation of the changes needed for smooth SD-WAN implementation with minimal business outages. Building and updating the dashboard and communication pages for senior management as well as company-wide consumption showing progress of roll-out and impending migrations. Working with multiple facilities personnel and local site contacts across time zones to coordinate activities such as circuit deliveries, cabling extensions, vendor visits, etc. Planning and coordinating activities between Ansys and Verizon teams to provide a solid foundation for billing and service management in order to avoid future issues.Data Center initiatives include: Managing the move for an in-house data center in San Jose to a colocation facility in Seattle.o Built a time line and detailed plan for pre-move tests/upgrades/backups, logistics (including packing/unpacking and travel), post-move sequencing for turn-up/testing, and executed successfully against the plan. Assisted in evolving the strategy and architecture for moving to a hybrid cloud design for the enterprise. Led the technical planning for WAN integration of the Azure environment with the SD-WAN cloud including running POCs with multiple virtual Meraki and Checkpoint firewall implementations.
