About Jignesh V. Parmar

I am an ABC Board Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of amputees and individuals with health challenges. My work centers on empowering people through well-designed prosthetic and orthotic devices that support independence, mobility, and confidence. Since 2021, I have developed a strong interest in digitalization in O&P and have been actively learning and applying advanced technologies to improve clinical outcomes.My journey in this field has always been driven by a desire to see human beings achieve milestones they once thought were out of reach. During my Master’s program, I designed a prosthetic knee joint as part of my research, and I remain committed to advancing its development and real-world use. My long-term goal is to make hydraulic prosthetic knee joints accessible and affordable for individuals living in developing countries.Outside the clinic, I am an artist at heart with a love for conceptual painting and sculpting. I believe creativity gives my clinical work depth, allowing me to blend art and science into solutions that serve people in a more holistic way. I value working with others, building thoughtful partnerships, and using human-focused strategies to create a broader impact in the O&P community.
