The client is one of the syndicates in Lloyds London Market who is doing specialized insurance for customers. As part of the EDP program, we are building integrated data mart on Synapse Analytics sourcing from various source applications. This data mart will hold data for policy administration, claim processing, underwriting etc. and will help generate meaningful PowerBI reports for the business stakeholders. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Development of Data mart on Synapse Analytics platform to serve the business reporting needs for the client - Fact & Dimensions model 2. Sourcing data from various on-Prem/cloud sources, APIs, files etc. and applying the required transformations and loading data into data mart on Synapse SQL as well as load Delta table on ADLS 3. Implementation of ELT (Extract, Load & Transform) using synapse pipelines with dynamic files processing using Control tables driven metadata and SCD 2 using Data Flows within ADF / Synapse Pipelines 4. Code management using Azure DevOps Git Repository 5. Following the Sprint Development Cycle 6. Daily stand-up interactions with clients to discuss progress/ challenges on Sprint developments
