Performing office accounting and manage financial reporting, budgeting and Record keeping. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of Company’s financial and accounting records.• Collect business data from various departments and derive reports for the Operations and Management.• Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with budget and contractual terms to ensure costs are controlled; track and communicate variances to Management and colleagues. • Prepare and analyze budgets and provide variance explanations to monthly forecasts and expenditure budgets using Excel; escalate critical issues to management for timely action. • Prepare year end/ Month end package including accruals, amortization, prepaid, Provision (closing entries), ledger scrutiny, trial balance and help external auditor to finalize and close the books.• Manage Payroll and prepare payroll tax returns PD7A, EHT, WSIB Submission. Prepare T4 and ROEs.• Prepare, Process and File Monthly HST/GST• Maintain, prepare Excel spreadsheets for allocation of expenditures for Scientific Research and Experimental Development claims and Industrial Research Assistance Program for filing. Explaining the calculations and assumptions to the SRED advisor and assist the SRED auditor with additional information to assist them with their queries as required.• Process all accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner to maximize discounts and manage smooth cash flow. Maintain accurate filing and organization of accounts payable documents.• Managed working capital on day-to-day basis.
