Assists in the preparation of quality documentation, including the Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Control Plans (QCP) and in the review of construction documents for compliance with project quality requirements related to E&I works. ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation works in a project comply with quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement QA procedures for electrical and instrumentation works. Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g, IEC, NEC, ISA). Review and approve method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and work procedures. Conduct vendor and subcontractor audits to verify adherence to quality standards. Monitor material and equipment compliance with specifications. Support in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. Conduct inspection and testing of electrical and instrumentation installations. Verify proper installation of cable trays, conduits, grounding, and wiring. Perform loop checking, megger testing, and function tests. Ensure proper calibration of instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, etc.). Check panel wiring, DCS/PLC installations, and control systems. Identify and report non-conformances (NCRs) and ensure corrective actions. Maintain detailed QA/QC documentation and reports. Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations. Participate in risk assessments and ensure safe work practices. Ensure proper electrical and instrumentation tagging for safety compliance. Work closely with construction, commissioning, and project teams. Liaise with clients, third-party inspectors, and regulatory authorities. Prepare and present quality reports, test certificates, and handover documents. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, testing, and quality-related documentation.
