ABOUT JIGAR PATEL
I am an undergraduate student at the University Maryland looking to earn my CPA. I have a strong passion in financial analysis, risk management, and strategic decision-making to solve challenging problems. I am actively enhancing my skills in accounting, financial reporting, and corporate finance through my coursework as well as engage in opportunities for hand-on experience as an intern for TerpTax, Inc, where I prepare tax returns for clients to refine my accounting, communication, and team building skills. Outside of the classroom, I volunteer in service initiative team projects for the Food Recovery Network. I am also interested in networking with students interested in pursuing careers in accounting and finance, which is why I am an active member in the Accounting and Business Association (ABA).
