Oil and Gas Upstream (Drilling & Completion and Exploration ) As a Petroleum Data Manager, responsible for Upstream Oil & Gas Exploration/Well Planning/Drilling/Subsurface applications used to support oil & gas exploration activity. Business areas include: Geology/ Geophysics, Seismic/ Well data management, MWD/LWD, Wireline logging, Well Planning, Reservoir engineering, Production Engineering. Responsible for supporting petro-technical/ subsurface applications used to support oil & gas exploration like OpenWorks, Decision Space Geoscience, Engineer’s Desktop tool Suit (Compass, Well Plan, Openwell, Well Cat, Stress Check), Geoview, SeisSpace, etc. The main focus is to provide technical computing support to the user community of Drilling and subsurface applications. This would primarily include interacting with Vendor to analyse and resolve application and data related issues. Responsible for Drilling & Completion data management and Made Driiling and Production dashboard with Vizualization tool like Spofire and PowerBi. Daily and real time monitoring, support and required troubleshooting which generates daily morning reports from HLB Landmark Openwell. Handle request and incident related to Data loading and extraction from data source, Tape, HDD, etc. Plan and coordinate new software evaluations, coordination with vendor (SLB, HLB, NOV, etc.) for application installs and upgrades taking into account systems software and hardware implications. Migrating Seismic Physical SEGY files from one location to another (as per the customized requirements) in Linux Environment. E.g: Seismic SEGY Transfer from Tape to Harddisk/Drive.Openworks Seismic Loading and QC.Seismic SEGY Loading and Extraction as per required Inline, Xline, etc. SEGY Merge and Extraction in Linux. Data Fetching. Exporting using SQL Studio from Various Databases. Run Multiple Queries for some data cleaning and migrated data to MS excel, Spotfire.
