About Jie Lu
I am very familiar with several CAD modeling softwares including: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, and Inventor. I have strong background in both 2D and 3D FEM simulations, especially in the automotive industry. My recent research includes lubricant system and additives design using simulation tools like LAMMPS, Gaussian and Material Studio combined with experimental methods such as AFM and Nano indentation/scratch. I conduct surface hardness/friction analysis in the micro/nano scale, lubricant test and journal bearing fatigue test by an in-house built machine.
