ABOUT JIAXING WANG
JIAXING WANG is an MS student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University. She obtained her Bachelors degree of Engineering in Automation and Bachelor of Economics in Finance from Beijing University of Technology in China. During her undergraduate study, she was awarded a number of scholarships including the Japan TIS Enterprise scholarship for scientific and technological innovation. In 2016, She led her team to meritorious winner of a mathematical contest held by COMAP. Jiaxing worked as a developing intern in 2016 at Pearl Capital Business Funding company. During her internship, she completed the development of an XML based parsing language for OCR analysis statements of BBVA Comapass Bancshares Inc bank. The program could grasp huge amount transaction data of the bank, which is used for building quantitative models for Subprime Crisis analysis. Currently, she is pursuing her MS degree in Duke University in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering with the admitted scholarship. Taking courses related to programming and data structure and machine learning, she is proficient with C++, Java, and Linux. Being in love with working out, she is used to playing ping-pong and dancing Zumba in her free time.
