Leading Bytedance Volcano IaaS US network team to research and develop proof of concepts and functionalities using cutting-edge network technologies. This innovation aims to provide ByteDance\'s Volcano Engine network infrastructure with improved performance, scalability, stability, and reduced cost. Our surveys have covered various areas, including P4/Programmable ASIC, DPUs, TCP/RDMA protocols, AI/ML HPC networking, CXL, cloud infrastructure reliability, Rust language for application networks, SASE and in-network computing. We also prototype and develop service network products using Rust, programmable ASIC/FPGA hardware load balancers, and multipath routing in RDMA network. Our team is looking for individuals with a strong expertise in networking development or research in public cloud infrastructure, who possess the drive and passion to revamp networks using state-of-the-art techniques.
