Led the run-time parameter update project through the whole development process, including planning, requirements definition, use case study, features and functionality design and development, coding, testing, bug fixing, and infrastructure enhancement and maintenance- Increased the efficiency of the run-time parameter update feature of the graph-based programming language Simulink by 8% through optimizing the parameter validation process in Simulink engine- Designed and implemented the entire infrastructure to enable run-time parameter change in a general Simulink model; Integrated the infrastructure with Simulink engine- Built a series of information caching and validation using various data structures in different phases (i.e, edit-time, compile-time, etc.), which guarantees correct and rapid change of parameters during run-time- Solved the data dependency and execution order issues for run-time parameter update through analyzing the complicated graph in Simulink models.
