About Jian Li
Open to Software Engineering / Machine Learning internships for Fall 2025 and full-time roles starting May 2026. I\'m especially interested in AI infrastructure, developer tools, and ML-powered applications that impact real-world systems. My work spans domains such as EduTech, Healthcare AI, FinTech, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. I\'m passionate about building scalable systems that combine intelligent automation with practical impact — from research workflows to large-scale medical data processing. My technical strengths include backend engineering, LLM integration, multi-label classification, and multimodal retrieval. I\'ve applied these in roles at Anivance AI, Cathay Financial Holdings, and academic research at UC San Diego. I’ve also served as a teaching assistant for foundational CS and Data Science courses at UCSD, and co-founded Triton Quantitative Trading, where I led full-stack development and secured corporate sponsorships. Currently pursuing my Master of Engineering in Computer Science at Cornell University (Merit Scholar), after earning my B.S. in Math-CS and Economics from UC San Diego. Always excited to collaborate on innovative systems at the intersection of ML, infrastructure, and product.
