About Jian Li

The future can indeed be predicted by making. Once confidently projected, one can promote it in many areas for the common good, thereby gaining more influence in making it real. As a result, it becomes a flywheel.I (used to, lol) lead the research and technology planning team for Futurewei Technologies, covering all its ICT business in device, network, and cloud as well as new opportunities and disruptive uncertainties. Among other cities, our team members are distributed in Bay Area, Boston, Toronto, Waterloo, and Austin. In a nutshell, our job is to plan the next (N+2 and beyond) steps into the future for the $100B+ company, execute as a fusion of incubator and VC with a pool of startup-like collaborative projects, and strive to deliver unicorn ($B+) business impact.
