We owned applications for streamlining the lifecycle of tens of thousands of new-hire offers annually, and systems for auditing pay rates for 1m+ hourly associates worldwide- designed and led the implementation of a workflow for automatically updating pay rates of hourly associates based on tenure and job profile- executed data backfilling and code deployment procedures for new hire offers during the Amazon stock split event in 2022- implemented in-memory caching logic to reduce database calls in the rate calculation system, enabling it to run 10+ times faster during Amazon\'s largest wage change event
