About Jiachun Li
Hi, I\'m Jiachun.I\'m currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information Networking at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), where I am deepening my expertise in systems, networking, and distributed computing. My academic background also includes a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technology from Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), where I graduated with a 3.88/4.0 GPA. Additionally, I participated in the Berkeley International Study Program at UC Berkeley, learning Computer Science courses such as computer security there.In my previous role as a Software Engineer Intern at Shenzhen Zhimou Future Technology Co, I honed my front-end programming skills. Additionally, as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the EMI Group in SUSTech, I co-led the development of a GPU-accelerated framework for Spiking Neural Networks using Python, C++, and CUDA, achieving a 41× improvement in computational efficiency.In addition to my professional experience, my academic projects have provided me with hands-on experience in system optimization, distributed systems, and cloud computing, including developing a concurrent buffer pool with LRU-K replacement in a disk-oriented DBMS, deploying auto-scalable cloud applications using AWS and Terraform, and designing a Raft-based distributed Bitcoin miner for fault-tolerant task scheduling.I have passion for software engineering.
