About Ji Y.
I am a positive and motivated person. My passion on Robotics has taken me from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, to KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and Columbia University in the City of New York, and to Georgia Institute of Technology. While in KTH, I joined KTH Formula Student Team and was one of the founding members of KTH Formula Student Driverless Group. I later joined ÅF Consult, a well-known Swedish technical consulting company, to carry out my KTH master thesis project on time-optimal trajectory planning for autonomous driving. I concentrated on the field of robotics while I was a graduate student in Columbia University, and developed control algorithms for robotic arms and snake robots. Currently I am a Robotics PhD student at Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on developing the state-of-the-art control and planning algorithms for robots, with applications on autonomous vehicles.My skills set includes but not limited to: Control Theories and Optimization (Model Predictive Controls, Reinforcement Learning, classical control methods), Artificial Intelligence( Machine Learning, Computer Vision, game theories), Vehicle Dynamics, Robotic Dynamics and Kinematics, Project Management.
