ABOUT JANE HO-RENTON

9 || & I\'m a patient engagement and market access professional with nearly nine years of experience working at the intersection of science, policy, and partnership. My career has focused on ensuring that patient insight meaningfully shapes clinical development, value narratives, and decision-making across complex therapeutic areas. With experience spanning oncology, rare disease neuroscience, ophthalmology and heamatology, I\'ve led cross-functional initiatives to embed lived experience into trial design, HTA strategy, and organisational ways of working. I\'ve partnered with patient organisations, NHS stakeholders, and cross-functional leadership teams to co-create inclusive programmes, strengthen trial equity, and develop patient-centred value narratives aligned to regulatory and HTA milestones. I\'m particularly interested in how patient voice shapes decisions within different health systems, and how engagement model must adapt while remaining strategically coherent. My approach combines analytical depth with relationship-led engagement, ensuring that partnership is trust-based, structured and influential, & Alongside my formal roles, I’ve actively supported initiatives that promote inclusion in research and within organisations. I’ve organised panels, facilitated discussions, and helped create platforms that elevate underrepresented voices. For me, equity isn’t a separate agenda, it’s fundamental to credible science, meaningful engagement, and sustainable access.
