Current Role : November 2017 to Date Undertaking the Design Management Lead role on all new build projects on the Allied London St John’s scheme. This includes Manchester Goods Yard, and Globe and Simpson plus potentially 4 additional new build schemes which are in their early stages of development. Manchester Goods Yard (MGY) is an 11 storey commercial development with a 2 storey basement and ground floor retail. The Net Internal area of MGY achieved by the scheme equates to circa sq m sq ft). Globe and Simpson is a 10 storey commercial development with a single storey basement. The Net Internal area of Globe and Simpson achieved by the scheme equates to circa 8,500 sq m sq ft) of commercial space. St John’s is focusing on providing a high-end tech-based development which requires the development to be carefully designed to achieve the likes of WiredScore Platinum and BREEAM excellent, both of which have been led by me. My involvement has been from RIBA Stage 2 providing early design guidance, budgetary and buildability advice to Allied London and will continue through the construction phases to handover of the schemes. Previous roles : Design Management Lead on the new North Wales Prison - Circa £150m Responsible for all design management activities on the new North Wales Prison from contract award to final scheme sign-off and through the construction phase. Design Management Lead on : CityLabs. Biomedical Centre of Excellence development at the Former Royal Eye Hospital, Manchester (Circa £25m). Potato Wharf. 102 apartment residential development (Circa £8m) New Critical Care Unit. Manchester Joint Hospitals (Circa £20m) Project Lead - Birmingham BSF Project Lead / Design Manager responsible for 5 Academies (circa £90m) Senior Design Manager on : 2 Spinningfields Square, Manchester (Circa £15m) 3 Hardman Street, Spinningfields, Manchester (Circa £90m) 3 & 4 Hardman Square, Spinningfields (Circa £52.5m)
