ABOUT JHENEVIEVE C.
Pursuing a Master’s in Natural Resources at University of Idaho, with an emphasis on Fish & Wildlife Science and Management. CSULB alumna (Go Beach!) with a BS in Marine Biology. Currently a Senior Environmental Scientist with CDFW’s Habitat Conservation Program Inland Deserts Region, serving as a liaison for SoCal Edison projects (environmental assessment and compliance). Previously a part of the NMFS West Coast Region’s Tribal Relations team as a liaison between federal staff and 155+ federally-recognized tribes within the region. Additionally worked on consultations for agency projects affecting habitat and endangered species. Experience with working in a laboratory, conducting scientific research in the field, and analyzing/visualizing scientific data. I\'d consider myself a \"Jill\" of all trades with a diverse background in marine, coastal and freshwater ecosystems. Past experience includes stream assessment, habitat surveying, benthic macroinvertebrate identification, and sample collection. Very familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, ArcGIS, R Studio, and GitHub. Strong background in customer service and a passion for community outreach & education, and environmental justice.
