An active and passionate researcher in the field of noise control using Helmholtz resonators acoustic metamaterials. Designed and developed a compact size low-frequency resonator as well as an array of resonators over a range of frequencies using 3-D printers and plastic molding. Also developed an optimization technique to find the number of resonant frequencies and number of resonators associated with each chosen frequency to maximize the noise absorption over a band.
