About Jared Govorko

Jared Govorko has 25 years of physical security management experience in the contract, corporate, and military arena. He has a passion for leadership, a successful track record of developing personnel, implementing change, and enhancing services to increase safety & protect assets.Jared joined Cisco in 2011 to manage security operations for North America. In 2015 he assumed management responsibilities for the Global Incident Management & Investigation program for 5+ years. His responsibilities included Crisis Management, Global Security Operations Centers, the Emergency Preparedness Program, and Investigations. In 2020, Jared assumed responsibility for security operations throughout North & South America ensuring security service delivery for all aspects of security. Today Jared leads the global physical security operations ecosystem at Cisco, developing global strategy and ensuring consistent delivery.Throughout Jared’s tenure at Cisco he has built world class teams focused on strong process for today and creation of innovation for tomorrow. Jared’s approach has focused on identifying key deliverables, areas of vulnerability, and opportunities to enhance efficiencies to create cost effective security solutions that deliver measurable results.Prior to joining Cisco Jared held management roles with Alliedbarton & Securitas. In these roles he introduced cross training programs for staff driving down non-billed overtime, increasing company profitability. The programs were successful in developing staff skillsets and offering career advancement; significantly increasing retention. Jared is a veteran of United States Army and has a bachelor’s degree in business.
